"If there is a draw, I’ll make the final choice." : I was very confident when I wrote this. Not like if 5 very good english blogs would end with the same number of votes ! I'm afraid I'm not strong enough to choose by myself. So here we are : 5 more days to vote for the best english language blog (until the 5th of february) amongst those (alpha order) :

I'm thinking about opening the figoblogothèque to new contributors. The idea would be to have a team of peoples who post a message every now and then about one post they read, new or old - or even a blog, that they found interresting. Kind of a "today's" blog/post article. If you want to join in, send me a message at gloarmy@free.fr in the message include :

an email to "invite" to be an author of this blog,
your choice for this "today" blog/post and a few lines about your choice (a sample contribution),
your own blog's address if you have any.
As I see it, every post will be posted in english and in your native language, if different.

As always, remember to tell me about the blogs you would like to see here, to add the Figoblogothèque in your blog roll and to "follow" it = You are my motivation to keep this thing going on !

L'agenda du figuriniste a besoin de vous : Je ne peux le maintenir seul. Nous recherchons donc des volontaires pour le tenir à jour. Sur les conseils de l'aubergiste, l'agenda est dorénavant couplé à un calendrier Google qui devrait simplifier sa maintenance. L'agenda ne se restreint pas aux conventions françaises : ou que vous viviez, vous pouvez devenir un "correspondant" (ça ne rapporte rien, à part la possibilité d'écrire un livre plein de rancune dans 10 ans quand j'aurais remplacé Google sans partager les bénefices !) : envoyez moi votre adresse à gloarmy(at)free.fr.

The Miniature Agenda (Agenda du Figuriniste : it may change his name if the "not french" convention quota go bigger) NEEDS YOU ! I've started this thing like a year ago and I've found that I need some help to update it regulary. "L'Aubergiste" gave me the idea to link the agenda to a google agenda, it's done. The agenda can list conventions in any country, so wherever you live, you can help and become a "correspondant" (You won't earn anything but a chance to write a book full of rant in 10 years explaining how I replaced Google without sharing the benefits with you !) : Send me you email address to gloarmy(at)free.fr if you want to help keeping this calendar updated.

Dans un mois, suivant le nombre de volontaires, je continuerais ou pas ce site.
In a month, depending of the number of volunteers, I'll close - or not the site.

The figoblogotheque have been created in february 2009 as the blog list on my own blog was getting too big. After 11 month, it's now a collection of more than 400 blogs, some more actives than others, all about miniature painting and gaming.

La figoblogothèque a été crée en février 2009 alors que la liste de blogs sur mon propre blog devenait trop longue. Après 11 mois d'existence, elle liste plus de 400 blogs, certains plus actifs que d'autres, tous traitant de peinture ou de jeux de figurines.

I wish you all, blog writters, blog readers and even peoples who get lost in here after searching " traduit en francai calp incredibly beautiful and very sexy beautiful girl" on Google (someone really did) an happy gaming, painting and blogging year !

Je vous souhaite à tous, lecteurs ou auteurs de blogs et même à ceux qui se sont perdus ici après avoir recherché "trouver les photos privees de crisy horse " sous Google (réel) une heureuse année de jeu, de peinture et d'écriture (de blogs) !

Après les problèmes de cet après midi, j'ai finalement réussi à ajouter une nouvelle colonne afin de commencer à référencer les sites qui ne sont ni en français ni en anglais. Si vous en connaissez de bons, j'attends vos liens !

Par ailleur, s'il y a un volontaire pour modifier le code du blog histoire de lui donner une présentation ressemblant à l'ancienne (titres, bordures, etc), celà m'évitera de fouiller des faq ;-)

All the links have been lost and it seems that the save is not working. Please send the links you remember and or know telling for everyones if it's french or uk.

Wecome in the Figobogotheque! (essentially, the Library of Miniatures Blogs). My objective is to collect the addresses of blogs that we like, and to share them with each other, as long as they are speaking about gaming with miniatures. The main feature is that the listings are ordered automatically, each time you "refresh", from the most recently posted article to the oldest one. Look at the links from the top, and scan down until you arrive at something you've already read; no need to check further, everything else will be older!

If you want to share links with us, please post the links in the commentaries (of this post, for non-French speaking articles). I'm not looking to list every blog, just send the links that you really enjoy! My friend Simon (aka BigRedBat) will be in charge of editing this part of the blog [Hello! Ed.], I'll be more in charge of the French part but we will surely cross over from time to time.

Finally, there are loads of other blogs to discuss, including mine and BigRedBat's one, priority to the links (but you can still say hello while posting some links ))

Bienvenue sur la figoblogotheque : Son objectif ? Répertorier les blogs qui traitent de jeux de figurines. Les blogs sont classés dans l'ordre de mise à jour : les derniers messages parus apparaissent en tête de liste : L'intérêt : on part du haut et on lit jusqu'à ce qu'on retrouve les articles déjà lus.

Cette liste n'est rien de plus que la liste qui se trouvait sur mon blog : Gloranthan Army, mais qui commençait à l'alourdir au chargement.

Si vous souhaitez proposer des liens vers des blogs qui ne sont pas dans la liste, faites le en commentant ce sujet. Je ne vise pas à l'exhaustivité, n'envoyez que des liens qui vous plaisent ! (et s'il ne me plaisent pas ? on verra !).
